10 France Langue students recorded for the French Speaking World Summit |
October 2006 |
Giocomo Ficari, Italian student at France Langue taking the 20 lesson French by the week courses for 5 weeks gives us the details… “I’m studying Economics at the University of Florence. I get to spend this year in Paris since I’m participating in the ERASMUS program When I started my classes at France Langue I was a beginner, now I can use the present, past and future tenses to express myself in French. In the classroom, we also learn about the way of living in France to have a better grasp of French culture. Students from all over the world attend France Langue, and I’ve made a lot of friends from Poland, Germany, Japan, Spain Mexico etc at school. I’ve also made some French friends. All of this has made me realize that there are a lot of cultural differences between people. I’d say, in general, that Italians are easier to get to know than the French people but that it’s worth your while to get to know French people. I strongly suggest that you learn French because its one of the official languages used in international institutions and it’s spoken on the five continents of the world.” |
